Seating eight people outdoors usually means surrendering the whole patio to furniture. The Vela corner sofa set does it from the corner instead, tucking two long sofa sections into the angle of a wall or fence and bringing a bench and a stool out only when the numbers demand it.

It is a set that genuinely does two jobs. Sit higher than a lounge sofa and you can eat properly at the table, plates and all, then stay exactly where you are once the meal is cleared. Most gardens need a dining set and somewhere to relax; this asks for the space of one.

The Sage cushions are the reason people stop and look. A soft, muted green, the colour reads as part of the garden rather than something placed in it, and a welcome escape from the grey that fills most of this category. Underneath, the cushions are deep enough to spend a whole afternoon on.

The frame and weave are made to stay out. Aluminium will not rust, the rattan will not rot, and the colour holds rather than fading away over a season.

For Shade
A round or rectangular or parasol through the dining table's parasol hole, which throws enough cover to reach the outer seats. We'd recommend our Kratos, Styx and Zelos traditional parasols for this set which can be found here.

For Your Peace of Mind
All cushion covers lift off and hand-wash. While the frame and weave are designed to stay outside year round, storing the cushions away between uses and whenever heavy weather is forecast will keep them at their best. You will find our recommended care products below under Care and Assembly.
