A lounger without a side table means your drink goes on the floor. The Vela round rattan side table is the piece that solves it, built to the same specification as the loungers themselves.

It stands level with the Vela lounger seat, so a glass, a phone, a book or the suncream sits exactly where your hand already is. The weave and Wheat colourway are identical to the loungers, so it reads as part of the set rather than an afterthought. Buy one per lounger, or one to share between two. It is an optional extra, so the choice is yours.

The top is tempered glass finished with a ceramic effect. It wipes clean with a damp cloth and will not stain, swell or splinter the way timber does, which matters on the surface that takes the suncream and the spilled drinks.

Engineered for continuous outdoor use, the frame and weave stay out through every season with resistance to water, rot and rust built in, and the weave is UV tested to hold its colour in strong sun. A lightweight aluminium frame underpins the table and is powder coated for lasting protection against the elements. It is light enough to lift with one hand and move as the sun goes round, and it works just as well as a small occasional table on a balcony or beside a sofa set.

For Your Peace of Mind
There are no cushions to store and nothing to dismantle, so the table can simply stay where it is. A damp cloth is all the glass asks for, and the weave needs no more than an occasional rinse. If you are covering the loungers for winter, bring the table under the same cover and it will look the same next spring. You will find our recommended care products below under Care and Assembly.
