Description
At 197cm long and 85cm wide, the Vela adjustable lounger is built for people who find standard sun loungers a size too small. There is room to lie fully extended, turn over, or sit cross-legged with a book, and the adjustable backrest covers every position between flat sunbathing and upright...

At 197cm long and 85cm wide, the Vela adjustable lounger is built for people who find standard sun loungers a size too small. There is room to lie fully extended, turn over, or sit cross-legged with a book, and the adjustable backrest covers every position between flat sunbathing and upright reading.

The frame and weave are engineered for continuous outdoor use and designed to remain outside in every season, with water, rot and rust resistance throughout.

The lounger is framed in lightweight aluminium and powder coated for protection against corrosion, so the adjustment mechanism is not sitting on steel that will rust into place.

Each lounger is sold individually rather than as a fixed pair, so you can take one for a balcony, two for a terrace, or a row of them for a poolside without paying for a configuration that does not suit your space. They also stack, which is what makes buying several genuinely practical: three or four loungers can be stored over winter in roughly the footprint of one, and at 19.7kg each they are light enough to lift and reposition as the sun crosses the garden.

For Your Peace of Mind
Cushion covers are removable and hand-washable. The frame and weave are designed for permanent outdoor use. Store the cushions away between uses and in heavy weather to keep them at their best, and stack the loungers under cover over the coldest months. Operate the backrest with both hands on the frame and it will give years of service. Our recommended care products are listed below under Care and Assembly.

To maintain your cushions, clean them regularly with mild soapy water, and check care labels for specific instructions. Blot spills with a damp cloth, and let gel-based spills solidify before scraping them off. Store cushions in a cool, dry place when not in use, using appropriate cushion bags to prevent mold. Avoid keeping cushions under furniture covers for extended periods to prevent water stains.
