Highly engineered draining system

The built-in drainage system prevents you from having to open the louvred roof as any excess water that lands on the louvres flow into u shaped channels. Water will not pool on top, as any excess rainwater will flow from the roof into the framework of the pergola, once in the horizontal framework, the rainwater flows into the legs and then vertically down to the ground.

Our pergola features tilting louvres, giving you the flexibility to adjust the angle for the perfect balance of shade, ventilation, and sunlight control. For the months that are a little cloudier, plug your pergola in to your mains power to supply electricity for the motorised louvres and LED lighting. When not in use, remove the cable and hide the socket with the silicone stopper.

Solar-Powered Motorised Louvres
An integrated solar panel trickle-charges the onboard battery, powering the motorised tilting roof louvres so you can open up to the sky or close for full shade and shelter at the touch of a button. It's a low-maintenance way to control light, airflow and rain without lifting a finger. For the slightly cloudier months of the year, use the mains-powered cable to charge the battery and then easily detach once charged so there are no visible cables.

Built-in LED lighting runs along the inside frame, extending your evenings outdoors with a warm, ambient glow, perfect for alfresco dining, entertaining or relaxing under the stars, with no separate power source to install.

Built to Last
The metal frame is powder-coated for lasting protection against rust, UV fade and British weather, while a discreet integrated drainage system channels rainwater safely away through the legs. As with any pergola, it isn't fully watertight, so very heavy rainfall may occasionally exceed the drainage capacity, much like an overworked house gutter.

Q: Is it electric and how is it powered?
A: It is electric and has a built-in battery which is charged by the sun, via the solar panel on top of the pergola. For cloudier months, you can charge the battery using the supplied cable.

Q: What 3-pin plug do I need to charge using the supplied cable?
A: We recommend an 18W USB-C Power Adapter plug.

Q: How long does the battery take to fully charge?
A: Charging via the solar panels can vary depending on the amount of sunlight; on average, it can take between 6-8 hours. With the supplied USB-C cable, it will take 6 hours to fully charge.

Q: Once fully charged, how long will the battery power the LED lights for?
A: The battery will power the lights for 4 hours.

Pergola Assembly & Installation Guide

Assembly Details

Assembly Required: We recommend 2-3 people to assemble, with an estimated assembly time of approximately 2-3 hours depending on skill level. PergoSTET pergolas must be installed on level surfaces to ensure the drainage system works efficiently; patios with a standard 1:80 fall for surface water runoff are acceptable, but significantly steeper falls may affect performance and void warranties. Once assembled, secure the pergola to the floor immediately using the provided bolts to maintain structural integrity and prevent beams from shifting. Unsecured feet leave the pergola vulnerable to movement, compromising durability and safety. Assemble during suitable weather conditions to minimize risks and ensure a safe and successful installation.
