Our Burford 8 Seat Extending Dining Set with Spindleback Dining and Armchairs brings together timeless design and natural beauty on a grander scale. With its soft whitewashed finish, the set highlights the character of the wood, showcasing its grain, texture, and warmth for a look that feels both authentic and refined.

The rectangular tabletop features a smooth extension mechanism that transforms it into an oval shape, offering generous seating for everyday dining or larger gatherings. Whether it’s a laid-back lunch or a celebratory dinner, the table’s sturdy build and gently tapered legs provide lasting stability and an elegant, understated presence.

Paired with the table are six matching Burford Spindleback Dining Chairs and two Burford Spindleback Dining Chairs with Armrests, offering comfort, support, and a balanced look around the table. Finished with a soft whitewashed stain to complement our Natural Oak range, the set allows the natural grain and texture of the wood to shine through, offering an organic, considered aesthetic that suits both modern and traditional interiors. Each chair features turned legs, a gently curved spindled back, and a shaped seat designed for long-lasting comfort.

With its warm tones, thoughtful craftsmanship, and generous scale, the Burford Dining Set is designed to bring relaxed sophistication and everyday versatility to the heart of your home.

Care & Assembly

Product Care Advice

  • Furniture with a hard lacquer, wax polish or painted surface should be dusted with a dry cloth. Waxed furniture will need to be given a coat of beeswax a couple of times a year to help maintain its lustre.
  • Spray polishes are best avoided as they contain silicones which may spoil the furniture’s surface by building up over time. Make sure all surfaces are protected from heat and liquids by mats and coasters.
  • Wipe up spills immediately and ensure that a mat or pad is placed under paper if you are writing. Do not leave liquids to settle on the surface as this could damage the finish.
  • Extendable dining tables should be left extended for the first few months to avoid an uneven appearance. Likewise, lamps and ornaments should also be moved regularly.
  • Furniture will endure most temperatures in the home but it is best to avoid placing furniture next to heat sources such as radiators or fires. Be particularly careful with solid wood as the lack of humidity caused by central heating can cause damage such as warping.
  • Wooden furniture should be protected from direct intense sunlight and exposure to magnification heat from large glass windows and doors. These conditions can cause premature warping and potential splitting to occur in timbers.
