Our guarantees only cover furniture and garden structures (including pergolas) for structural damage (framework), corrosion, rust, and/or fade in the UK. However, it does not include the glass, cushion fabric & filling, or stitching supplied with furniture sets.
Our guarantee durations are clearly displayed on each product page of the website and apply to all furniture sold by harbourlifestyle.co.uk only.
Our range of furniture is designed to withstand UK weather conditions. It may not be suitable for other climates. Harbour Lifestyle will not be responsible for damage caused by foreign weather conditions if the customer wishes to move furniture out of the UK.
Harbour Lifestyle reserves all rights to refuse to apply guarantees in cases Harbour Lifestyle considers inappropriate or where the product has been altered by a third-party. Fair wear and tear will be excluded from the guarantee. Listed guarantee durations are the maximum period covered and any replacement orders provided do not re-start the guarantee period. The guarantee begins from the date of dispatch.

Rattan Garden Furniture
The guarantees for rattan furniture include protection against structural damage, rust, and fade. The guarantee does not cover natural wear and tear. Rattan products may contract or expand in foreign, extreme temperatures, which is not covered under guarantee. Garden furniture cushions and glass are not covered under guarantee unless they have arrived damaged. We will replace damaged items within 14 days after delivery if the item arrives damaged. These items are not covered by the furniture guarantee.
You should note that rattan weaves can be made up of different colour strands. These variations may look different in your garden depending on how much sunlight is available. Because the furniture is handwoven, there will not be any two identical items.
Fabric Garden Furniture
Fabric garden furniture warranties cover damage to structural integrity, rust and colour fade. The guarantee does not cover natural wear and tear. Except for items that arrived damaged, the guarantee does not cover dirt and stains. We may replace the items if we have been informed of any damage within 14 days of delivery.
Damage to a parasol canopy, such as rips and tears, are covered by guarantee on all parasols. The guarantee covers the crank and tilt system of an aluminium crank-and-tilt parasol. Parasol damage, including bending or damage from high winds, is not covered. Parasols should always be used with a base that is suitable and should always be covered and closed when not in use.
Please note that all of our Outdoor Furniture Covers are covered by our 1 Year Guarantee. This guarantee covers natural rips at the seams. No replacement will be given for covers that have been ripped by force or cut with scissors. Harbour Lifestyle reserves all rights to determine if the damage was caused by misuse or manufacturer error. Please note that whilst the covers may fade if exposed to direct sunlight, the guarantee does not cover colour fading.
Garden Furniture Cushions
All cushions for garden furniture sets must be kept indoors unless the manufacturer specifically states that they can be left outside. Even if furniture covers are applied, cushions must be kept inside.
PergoSTET Pergola 3 Year Warranty covers defects in the material during normal use within the guarantee period. This guarantee does not cover Side Blinds, LED Lighting Systems and Louvres which are all covered by a 1 Year Guarantee.
Our warranties do not cover natural wear and tear or damage from extreme weather conditions such as storm damage or high winds.
Maze Rattan Extended guarantee
On all Maze Rattan products both the weave and the frame are covered by a 1-year guarantee. The extended 5-year guarantee offered on Maze Rattan products only covers furniture for structural damage, rust and fade to the framework of the set. This guarantee applies to all furniture sold by Harbour Lifestyle under the Maze Rattan brand but does not include the glass supplied with these sets.
Harbour Lifestyle reserves the right to refuse guarantees in instances of inappropriate misuse or tampering by third parties. The guarantee will also not apply in instances deemed to be fair wear and tear by Harbour Lifestyle.
How do I claim my guarantee?

Making a claim:
- You'll need proof of purchase including your order confirmation
- If your product can't be repaired then we'll replace it with the same model. However, if your product is no longer available, we'll swap it with one of an equivalent specification or purchase value
Your guarantee won't cover you if:
- There's evidence of product abuse, misuse or use in a non-domestic environment
- The product hasn't been properly maintained in accordance with our care instructions
- The product is in an unsanitary condition (caused by pets, for example). We also reserve the right to refuse to collect and/or dispose of any unsanitary product
- The product has been exported outside of Great Britain.
- Nothing in this clause will reduce your statutory rights relating to faulty or misdescribed goods. Reliance on your statutory rights is free of charge.
